Inspection

Today our house is getting an inspection because we have a CONTRACT!! FINALLY!!!

We have had our house on the market this second time for almost a year. We were so relieved last week when our realtor called with a contract.

When we first moved to Madison our shed caught on fire. We have amazing neighbors that took ont the project of clearing out all the burnt wood and reconstructing a new one. We also had lots of yard work and again, neighbors, friends and family have been so gracious to help with weeding, mowing, raking leaves, clearing gutters. But the thought of having to coordinate all of that again this spring was a bit depressing.

So, hopefully all goes well and we will close in a few weeks. All of our stuff will be in one state and we can start looking at getting a place in Madison and putting down some more roots here.

It may sound funny, but one of the main things I am looking forward to is having a place we can paint. I like having colors on our walls- it makes it cozy and feels more settled and like "home". We will probably get a simple condo here in Madison- something where we don't have to do a lot of yardwork and cleaning since life as parents and church planters is full. We aren't wanting too much domestic work in this season of life. But we do want a place we can paint! I'll be hitting the stores soon looking at paint swatches. Can't wait!

That's wonderful, Tina!! Congratulations! Hoping it all goes smoothly. Can't wait to see photos of your condo later when it all happens! :-)
